Hundreds Gather to Welcome Commissioner Hon. Ruben Amaai in Mvolo County

In Mvolo County, Western Equatoria State, the newly appointed commissioner of Mvolo County, Hon. Ruben Amaai, was welcomed by hundreds of community members and government workers.

Comrade Ruben Amaai has been appointed the youngest commissioner in South Sudan, serving as the county commissioner of Mvolo County in Western Equatoria State. He was appointed by Presidential Decree on August 7, 2024, by President Kiir, replacing John Kum, who was suspended by WES Governor H.E. Lt. Gen. Alfred Futuyo Karaba about two months ago.

In an unprecedented display of admiration and respect, Hon. Ruben Amaai, the newly appointed commissioner of Mvolo County, was carried aloft like a king upon his arrival at the county headquarters.
