The team was given a send-off by the Minister of Culture Youth and Sports, Hon David Simbi, who handed over the flag of Western Equatoria State to both St Mary FC Yambio and Nasir United Maridi. He urged the teams to give their best and prove themselves as players in the national competition.
Mr. Silvester Ruati, Director of Football in the office of Culture Youth and Sports, emphasized the importance of unity within the team.
