Somali Business Association Denounces Derogatory Remarks Towards South Sudan Government

The Somali Business Association in South Sudan has come out to denounce derogatory remarks made by an individual claiming to be Somali towards the people and government of South Sudan. In a press briefing, the association clarified that the individual in question has never been to South Sudan and is not a member of their community in the country.

The association highlighted that the individual’s statements, which include false information about visa prices, do not align with their values. They emphasized that their mission is to build a stable, strong, and law-abiding Somali community in South Sudan and that the individual’s views do not represent them.

The Somali Business Association expressed gratitude to the people and government of South Sudan for creating a conducive environment for their community to conduct business activities across all ten states of the country. They emphasized their commitment to upholding their core values in building a positive relationship with the host country.
