Appointed Elders in the Office of the King Take Oath of Office

Yambio – In a momentous ceremony held in the Azande kingdom, the appointed elders in the Secretariate office of King Atoroba Peni took their oath of office. The event marked a significant step forward for the kingdom, as these dignitaries pledged their commitment to serving the king and the people with honor and diligence.
During a briefing, King Atoroba Peni addressed the newly appointed elders and called upon them to work together harmoniously, stressing the importance of adhering to their respective job descriptions. The king expressed his confidence in their abilities and urged them to collaborate with partners and friends to overcome challenges and accomplish their collective goals.
As part of the celebration, His Majesty King Atoroba Peni appointed six ministers to lead the activities of his office. Prince Tadeo Mario Sasa was appointed as the prime minister of the Azande kingdom, entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the smooth functioning of the office and coordinating its various functions.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity given to them, Prime Minister Prince Tadeo Mario Sasa thanked King Atoroba for the assignments and for successfully establishing the office. He further extended his appreciation to the President of South Sudan, H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit, for reinstating the kingdom and sending his representative to attend the anniversary celebration.
Among the newly appointed ministers, Roto Anibipai Enoka was assigned as the Minister for King’s Affairs, Royal Family Information and Communication, Land, Azande Diaspora, and other affairs in the kingdom. Betuel Richard Bagboro was appointed as the Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Natale Fortinato Zingisi as the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Christin Ngbaazande as the Minister of Development, Gender, and Children Affairs.
Additionally, Angelo Obede, representing other tribes, was appointed as a representative to the monarchy. Hailing from Torit in Eastern Equatoria state, Obede’s appointment signified the kingdom’s commitment to inclusivity and unity among different ethnic groups.
The king assured the public that the remaining positions in his office would be filled with experienced candidates, as he seeks to assemble a team that will effectively serve the Azande kingdom. The appointment of these elders is seen as a significant stride towards restructuring the kingdom’s administration and implementing new initiatives for the welfare and development of its citizens
