“The refresher workshop aims to monitor and protect public finance management in the state and also report all revenues collected in the state for easy reporting to the R-STNLA for review by the Minister,” said Hon. Viana Kakuli Aggrey.
The workshop also served as a platform for the Ministry of Finance to plan its fiscal year budgets and detect any instances of financial misappropriation within Central Equatoria State.
Emmanuel Chandiga, the Director-General of the State Ministry of Finance, Planning and Investment, emphasized the importance of regular training sessions for staff members to better understand revenue sources and budget preparation processes.
