The Minister of General Education and Instructions in Central Equatoria state, Ciricio Zakaria Ladu, has refuted allegations made by National Minister of General Education and Instructions, Awut Deng, regarding the selling of Supiri Secondary land to an investor.
In a press statement to the media on Friday, State Minister of Education, Hon. Ciricio Zakaria Ladu, denounced the claims, emphasizing that he has no right to sell the school land.
Zakaria defended his position by calling on National Minister of General Education, Awut Deng, to provide legal documentation proving whether the land has indeed been sold. He clarified that the state Ministry of Education had actually rented the land to an investor through legal procedures in order for the school to generate income to support its financial activities within the state.
Furthermore, Zakaria urged all citizens in the state not to pay heed to rumors that tarnish the image of the state Ministry of Education, emphasizing the importance of trust and transparency in such matters.
