Governor Jadalla Takes Action: Issues Two Vital Gubernatorial Orders

Juba – Governor of Central Equatoria State, Gen. Augustino Jadalla Kamilo Wani, has made significant strides in addressing pressing issues by issuing two crucial Gubernatorial Orders.

In Order No.12/2024, a State Flood Mitigation Task Force Ad-hoc Committee has been established to tackle challenges arising from flooding in the region. Comprising 18 dedicated members, the committee is tasked with creating awareness, identifying affected citizens, securing NGO support for victims, and commencing operations from July to October 2024 under the leadership of the Deputy Governor.

Furthermore, Order No.13/2024 institutes a Steering Committee for the Public Transport Drivers Union. With a focus on electing new leadership within 21 days and facilitating the establishment of union offices, this committee brings together key stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of the Drivers Union.
