Jamnel Care Leads Efforts to Fight HIV in South Sudan, Break Stigma

The fight against HIV in the country is compounded by multiple factors, such as limited healthcare access, pervasive stigma, and insufficient sexual education. Vulnerable populations in rural areas often lack essential HIV prevention resources, testing facilities, and treatment programs.
In this critical landscape, Jamnel Care emerges as a dedicated force in combating the HIV epidemic. Operating as a key member of the HIV Technical Working Group in South Sudan, Jamnel Care actively advocates for enhanced healthcare access, raises awareness, and works to eradicate stigma within communities. Through grassroots initiatives, the organization embarks on comprehensive education campaigns to promote safe sexual practices, emphasize condom use, and stress the importance of regular testing. Additionally, Jamnel Care provides vital support to individuals living with HIV, offering medical referrals, counseling services, and facilitating peer support groups.
