Lakes State Governor Leads Cuei-Adukan in Celebrating Panyon Community Annual Festival

The Panyon community in Cuei-Adukan welcomed Governor Rin Tueny Mabor and his accompanying delegation with open arms as they opened the Panyon Community Annual Festival Celebration yesterday. The community expressed their happiness and appreciation by presenting a bull and a heifer to the Governor.
During the event, the Panyon community took the opportunity to request assistance from the government. They called for the addition of a Payam, the provision of clean drinking water, the repair of existing roads, schools, and Primary Health Care Centers (PHCCs), as well as the construction of a permanent Police Station in Adol Boma.
Additionally, they pleaded for the allocation of two tractors to enhance cultivation and improve network connectivity in the area.
In response to their requests, Governor Tueny expressed his gratitude to the Panyon community for their cooperation with the state government. He acknowledged their efforts in stopping unnecessary conflicts, returning to their homes, and prioritizing agricultural production and education for their children.
Furthermore, He highlighted the need for the communities in Lakes State to take care of children below the age of 18. He emphasized the growing number of children in the outskirts of town and their possession of mobile phones, urging the community to ensure their well-being and safety.
Governor Tueny assured the Panyon community that their government has plans to address their requests and challenges.
