Ministry of Youth & Sports, South Korean Organization Sign MOU to Promote Peace and Youth Empowerment
In a significant move towards fostering peace and empowering the youth, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, led by Dr Joseph Geng Akech, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Heavenly Culture, World Peace and Restoration of Light (HWPL), a South Korean peace and cultural organization.
The signing ceremony saw the exchange of a working document encompassing various fields such as sports, youth empowerment, exchange opportunities, and training programs. This partnership aims to create platforms for collaboration and mutual benefits for the youth of both nations.
Expressing his gratitude at the signing ceremony, Minister of Youth and Sports Dr Joseph Geng Akech commended HWPL’s dedication towards achieving global peace and reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to promoting peace within the country.
In response, Mr. Daehee, a representative from Heavenly Culture and World Peace, emphasized their full support for the Ministry’s initiatives, emphasizing the importance of providing training opportunities for youth. He urged young people to leverage their skills as invaluable resources for the betterment of society.
With this Memorandum of Understanding in place, both parties look forward to fostering a stronger bond between South Korea and South Sudan, with a shared vision of promoting peace and empowering the youth for a brighter future.
