President of South Sudan Football Association Visits Kodok to Promote Football Development

The President of the South Sudan Football Association, General Agustino Madout Parek, embarked on a visit to Kodok in Upper Nile State to engage with the local football community and promote the development of the sport. Upon his arrival in Kodok, General Agustino was warmly received by Commissioner Hon. James Aban, President of the Kodok sub Local Football Association Mr. Aban, and representatives from 21 football clubs within the area.

During his visit, General Agustino proceeded to Fashoda where he met with King Koung Dak Phadit as a gesture of respect for his presence in Kodok. The highlight of the visit was witnessing a friendly match between Jerosalem FC and Aburj United FC, which ended in favor of Aburj United FC.

Addressing the spectators, General Agustino expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality displayed by the people of Kodok upon his arrival. He commended both teams for their spirited performance and encouraged the players to work hard to represent Kodok at the national level.

General Agustino also called upon Commissioner Hon. James Aban to support the development of football in Kodok by increasing the number of football playgrounds in the area. He assured the community of capacity-building workshops aimed at strengthening football management within the state.

In response, Commissioner Aban urged young players in Kodok to take sports seriously, emphasizing that they hold the potential to develop Kodok through sports and become future leaders of the region.

The visit by General Agustino signifies a commitment to promoting football development at the grassroots level and fostering a culture of sports excellence in Kodok.
