South Sudan’s leaders discuss strategies for peace consolidation

President Salva Kiir Mayardit and Opposition Leader Dr. Lam Akol met on Friday to discuss strategies for consolidating peace in South Sudan. This meeting comes as the country prepares for next year’s general elections.
