Edmond Yakani Nominated for 100 Most Influential Africans Award

In an exciting development, Edmond Yakani, the esteemed Executive Director of the Community Empowerment for Progress Organization (CEPO), has been nominated as one of the recipients for the prestigious 100 Most Influential Africans Award. This distinguished honor recognizes Yakani’s unwavering dedication to promoting good governance, human rights, and democracy in South Sudan.

The award ceremony, organized by NG Business Executive, The Business Executive, International Council, and The Executive Foundation and the African Chamber of Trade, is set to take place on the 30th of May in Harare, Zimbabwe. Yakani’s inclusion among the esteemed recipients underscores his impactful contributions to the advancement of his nation and the continent at large.

Expressing his gratitude and dedication, Yakani shared, “I dedicate this award to every South Sudanese who has stood up for the principles of good governance, human rights, and democracy.
