He is expected to arrive this week or next,” she announced.
Richard expressed the eagerness of party members to resume vital SPLM activities under Rimbasa’s leadership following months of inactivity. “We look forward to his guidance and leadership as we continue to work for the betterment of our people,” she added.
CD Daniel Badagbu Rimbasa is no stranger to leadership, boasting a wealth of experience from his previous roles as Governor of Gbudue State, SPLM State Chairman, and Information Secretary at the SPLM National Secretariat. “With his extensive background, we are confident he will bring strong and effective leadership to Western Equatoria,” Richard emphasized.
The excitement surrounding Rimbasa’s arrival has been palpable since his swearing-in last week, and preparations are already in motion for a formal reception organized by the state government. A welcoming committee is set to be established soon to ensure the event commemorates the significance of his appointment.
In addition to the official reception, SPLM leaders across the ten counties are coordinating plans for a celebratory gathering at the SPLM premises, where enthusiastic members are eager to honor Rimbasa and kickstart the party’s activities.
