Governor Simon Ober Donates 28,000 Textbooks to Boost Education at University of Northern Bahr el Ghazal

Governor Simon Ober of Northern Bahr el Ghazal has donated 28,000 academic textbooks to the University of Northern Bahr el Ghazal. The donation was officially presented on Thursday at the University library, marking a pivotal moment in the institution’s commitment to student education.

During his visit, Governor Ober expressed his gratitude towards Vice Chancellor Professor Stephen Chol Ajongo and the entire academic staff. He emphasized that the state government, under his leadership, will continue to provide support to the university to help develop the capacity of its learners.

“The primary purpose of donating these textbooks is to build the capacity of our students and ensure they have access to quality educational resources,” Governor Ober stated during the handover ceremony.
