Abraham Guem Majok Wins Second Silver Medal in Japan Grand Prix Continental Tour

South Sudanese athlete Abraham Guem Majok has once again made his mark on the track, clinching his second Silver Medal at the Japan Grand Prix Continental Tour. This time, he excelled in the 1500m race, finishing in an impressive 3:36.55, setting a Personal Best (PB) and National Record (NR) in the process.
Reflecting on his achievement, Abraham expressed his joy and satisfaction with his performance, stating, “I am thrilled to have secured another Silver Medal showcasing my hard work and dedication to the sport.”
This recent success comes less than three weeks after Abraham’s first Gold Medal win at the Japan Grand Prix race in April, where he triumphantly completed the 1500m race in 3:38.94. His rapid improvement and consistency have been lauded by fans and fellow athletes alike.
Abraham’s journey to athletic success was further highlighted by his participation in the Japan Olympic 2022, where he represented South Sudan. Despite facing challenges, including the lack of proper infrastructure and financial support in his home country, Abraham’s determination and talent shone through as he finished fifth in the competition.
