In a historic event, the king of Azande kingdom, Atoroba Peni Rikito Gbudue, has laid the foundation of the new Royal Palace in Bazungua Payam. This new palace will serve as the residence for the king.

The selection of the location for the new Royal Palace was done by the kingdom’s elders and sons. It was a carefully considered decision that took into account various factors.

During the launch ceremony, His Majesty called upon the people of the kingdom, both within and outside, to support the construction of the new palace. He expressed his gratitude for any financial or in-kind contributions towards this endeavor.

“We are expecting to celebrate the Second Anniversary of the Azande kingdom, and I am inviting all the sons and daughters of South Sudan to come to our new palace in Bazungua, where this celebration will take place,” confirmed King Atoroba.

The invitation has been extended to other tribes of South Sudan, government dignitaries, friends, families, and other members of society. The king emphasized the importance of their presence to witness the well-organized celebration.

Preparations for the celebration are in full swing, with chiefs and organizing committees fulfilling their responsibilities. The Azande people from the diaspora are encouraged to work together in peace and respect towards one another in order to commemorate this special day.

His Highness also urged different communities living within the Azande Kingdom to prepare themselves with traditional dances.

“You have to be ready to celebrate the day in your own culture. The Kingdom does not exclude or discriminate against any tradition. Let us come together and enjoy the day,” the King said.

The construction of the new Royal Palace marks a significant milestone for the Azande kingdom. It symbolizes the growth and prosperity of the kingdom under the leadership of King Atoroba. The Second Anniversary celebration promises to be a memorable event, bringing together people from various backgrounds to honor and celebrate the rich heritage of the Azande people.
