Azande King Urges Farmers to Stop Depending on NGOs for Agriculture Support

In a recent address to traditional leaders in the Azande kingdom, King Atoroba Peni Rikito Gbudue made a strong call for local farmers to stop relying on NGOs for support in the agriculture sector. The king emphasized the importance of self-sufficiency and independence in farming practices.
“Most of our local farmers nowadays are depending on free things, and this must be prohibited,” said King Atoroba. He urged community leaders to take his message seriously and encouraged farmers to focus on increasing their agricultural output.
As the rainy season approaches, the king stressed the need for farmers to expand their fields and produce more food. He called for assistance from partners in providing training, market connections, and seed storage solutions for local farmers.
Additionally, King Atoroba emphasized the importance of diversifying crops, planting trees and vegetables, and reducing reliance on imports from other countries. He highlighted the potential for wealth and prosperity through successful agriculture production.
