In an exhilarating announcement, the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has unveiled the draws for the highly anticipated South Sudan Women’s Cup 2023/2024. The momentous event is slated to take place on Monday, April 8th, 2024, at the SSFA Headquarters at 11:00 AM.
The tournament is set to showcase a thrilling lineup, with two groups vying for supremacy. Group A will witness fierce competition in Aweil, featuring four formidable teams, while Group B will battle it out in Juba, with six teams contending for glory.
Representing Group A are the valiant Mayardit Wounded Heroes from Kuajok, the determined Tiger United FC hailing from Aweil, the spirited Al Hilal FC from Wau, and the talented Holy Family FC from Rumbek.
On the other hand, Group B boasts a diverse mix of teams eager to prove their mettle, including the soaring Nile Eagle from Bor, the spirited Yei Joint Stars representing Yei, the promising Young Star from Torit, the resilient Muniki FC based in Juba, the formidable Bentiu City FC from Bentiu, and the ambitious Al Wehida FC coming from Yambio.
The competition is scheduled to kick off simultaneously on April 15th, 2024, in both Juba and Aweil, promising fans across South Sudan an electrifying display of women’s football talent.
