Governor Jadalla Appoints New Board for Central Equatoria State Engineering Corporation, Outlining Comprehensive Mandate

In a significant move to strengthen the engineering and construction landscape in Central Equatoria State, H.E. Gen. Augustino Jadalla Kamilo Wani, the state governor, issued a Gubernatorial Decree on Monday appointing new members to the Board of Directors of the Central Equatoria State Engineering Corporation.

Decree No. 15/2024, effective immediately, names Cde. Nyarji Jermlili Roman as Chairperson, Eng. Emmanuel Matayo Wani as Deputy Chairperson, and Cde. Nelson Leju Disderio Ladu as Secretary of the Board. Additionally, Cde. Moses Idoru Nyama and Eng. James Ndoto Oliver Bakata have been appointed as members, bringing a wealth of expertise and experience to the oversight of the corporation.

In conjunction with the appointments, Governor Jadalla also issued Gubernatorial Order No. 16, which defines the powers and mandate of the newly established board. The order outlines a comprehensive array of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the engineering services within the state, including:

– Providing engineering services ranging from material testing to consultation on environmental practices.

The Central Equatoria State Engineering Corporation was initially established on October 4, 2024, with the goal of providing structured oversight and regulatory support for engineering and construction activities throughout the state.
