Jamus FC Juba Crowned Champions of South Sudan Premier League 2024/2025

Jamus FC Juba has been officially crowned the champions of the inaugural South Sudan Premier League for the 2024/2025 season, following a commanding 5-1 victory over Al-Hilal Wau. This outstanding performance marked the culmination of a fiercely competitive season and secured Jamus FC’s spot in the upcoming CAF Champions League, where they will represent South Sudan on the continental stage.
Jamus FC finished the season at the top of the league table with 68 points, edging out runners-up Kator FC Juba, who concluded with 62 points. Their consistent excellence throughout the season has established them as a symbol of football prowess in the country.
Top Performers and Awards
In addition to Jamus FC’s team success, individual players and coaches received recognition for their outstanding contributions:
Top Scorer: Christopher Kiirya – Koryom FC Bor (24 goals)
Best Goalkeeper: Godwill Yugusuk – Kator FC
Best Player: George Rodriguez – Jamus FC
Best Coach: Jean-Claude Loboko – Jamus FC Head Coach

As champions, Jamus FC will participate in the CAF Champions League, while Kator FC, as the league’s runners-up, will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup. At the bottom of the table, Young Stars of Torit and Nile City of Yambio were relegated after a challenging season that saw each team earn only 5 points.
The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA), through its leadership and organizing committee, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Government of South Sudan, all participating clubs, dedicated players, passionate fans, and sponsors—particularly MTN South Sudan—for their vital support in making this season a success.
