Major Restructuring in South Sudan’s Military and Government Leadership
In a sweeping series of decrees, South Sudan’s leadership has undergone significant changes, impacting both the military and key government positions.
Army Chief of Defense Forces General Santino Wol has been relieved of his duties, giving way to Paul Nang Majok, who has been appointed as his successor.
In a related move, Atak Santino Majak has also been relieved from his position as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense and Veterans Affairs. Santino Deng Wol has been appointed to fill this critical role.
