This year, Majur released his extraordinary non-fiction love novel, “Love Beyond Wealth,” an insightful exploration of love’s transformative power amid societal expectations and cultural norms. “Through sharing my journey, I aim to inspire and resonate with South Sudanese individuals in relationships and young people searching for true love,” Majur reflects. Majur Chol Khor currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of alhuriya.space and the CEO of www.mckradio.com, platforms that engage audiences with meaningful South Sudanese news content. His journey in journalism is marked by versatility and excellence; from 2015 to 2018, he worked at Radio Jonglei 95.9 FM, taking on multiple roles including Presenter, Reporter, Producer, News Editor and Program Manager. His dedication to the craft paved the way for his position as a state correspondent for the Juba Monitor, a nationally recognized English daily.
In 2018, Majur further enhanced his career by joining the South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC), where he continues to make significant contributions as a presenter and reporter. His work has also extended to various esteemed media organizations such as Sudan Tribune and the Voice of America (VOA), underscoring his role as a vital source of information in the region.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Majur is a passionate learner and cultural enthusiast. He enjoys reading, staying informed about global events, and engaging with sports and the arts. Whether listening to the radio or playing football, Majur’s life experiences enrich his storytelling ability, making him a relatable voice for many.
Now pursuing a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at Makerere University, Majur is dedicated to refining his expertise and empowering the next generation of journalists.
