MTN South Sudan Launches Exciting ‘Play to Win’ Marketing Promotion to Reward Valued Customers

MTN South Sudan made a significant announcement on Wednesday as they unveiled their latest marketing promotion, ‘Play to Win.’ The promotion is set to run until 31st July 2024 and aims to support the Bright Stars as they participate in the Olympics in France, representing South Sudan for the first time.

Customers will have the opportunity to participate in weekly and monthly draws with exciting rewards up for grabs, including motorbikes, smartphones, and a chance to travel to France to cheer on the South Sudanese team at the Olympics.

During a press conference, CEO of MTN South Sudan, Ali Monzer, expressed the company’s commitment to sponsoring the South Sudan Basketball Federation team, ranked number one in Africa, for their participation in the 2024 Summer Olympics in France. He highlighted the significance of this promotion in demonstrating MTN South Sudan’s ongoing support and loyalty to the Bright Stars as they embark on this historic journey.

Mr. Monzer further stated that the anticipated games, scheduled to begin in July and end in August, would provide a unique opportunity for three lucky MTN South Sudan subscribers to join the Basketball team in France and witness their Olympic debut firsthand.

Emphasizing MTN’s pan-African presence and dedication to progress, Ali Monzer mentioned that the company is working closely with the government to ensure that all the Olympic games are broadcasted on mobile phones, and designated centers will be set up in the ten states and three administrative areas for citizens to watch and support the Bright Stars in their respective regions.
