YLFA President Gives Thumbs Up to Africano Mande’s Impact on Grassroots Football

The president of Yambio Local Football Association spoke to Alhuriya on Thursday, declaring Mr. Africano Mande Foundation as a true leader and an important figure for the youths.
This came after the office of Yambio Local Football Association received a donation of 4,000,000 SSP from Africano Mande to support St. Mary FC Yambio and Nasir United Maridi as the two teams will travel to represent Western Equatoria State in the national South Sudan Cup in Juba.
In last year’s edition of the Yambio Inter-Area Tournament, Hon. Africano Mande Gadima donated 2,000,000 SSP, which was shared between the first runner-up, second runner-up, and third runner-up.
“When it comes to football, he is one of the leaders who support football and he always helps vulnerable people,” said Joseph Ndepi.
Going to Juba requires a lot of money, contribution, support, and this money has come at the right time and it will help both teams.
Two weeks ago, it was a historical day in Maridi when Africano Mande had a project of Sports Complex Muku in Maridi County.
“This project is the best, having a good stadium in the state is an achievement for having a national stadium for football,” said Ndepi.
Ndepi appeals to well-wishers to support both teams, whether with money, food, sports equipment, or ideas, so that the team can do their best in Juba.
