A 21-year-old woman in the western Equatoria state of Yambio is making a heartfelt plea to business men and women to assist her in acquiring a motorbike for Boda Boda use.
Mrs. Stella Jonathan, who is the younger sister in a family of four boys, all of whom depend on Boda Boda work, emphasizes that this is the only means by which she can support herself and her family.
“I have explored various job opportunities, but it has been challenging to secure regular income. This is why I have chosen to pursue Boda Boda work,”
Stella explained.
“In a day, I can earn up to 15,000 SSP, eliminating the need to rely on others for money,” She added.
Working around Masia park and residing in the Akorogbodi Presidential Area in Yambio, Stella has expressed her gratitude for the independence and stability that Boda Boda work has provided for her.
Her appeal seeks to alleviate the financial burden on her family and create a sustainable source of income. As her situation reflects the challenges faced by many young individuals striving for economic self-sufficiency, Stella’s plea resonates with the community in Yambio.
