New Machine Introduced to Ease License and Logbook Processing in Yambio
By Jackson Gaaniko
In a bid to address the challenges faced by drivers and boda boda riders in obtaining their driving licenses and logbooks, H.E. Lt. Gen. Alfred Futuyo Karaba has introduced a state-of-the-art plastic license and logbook processing machine. This move aims to streamline the process within the state, generating revenue locally instead of sending everything to Juba.
Governor Futuyo had promised to bring this machine last year, and today, he fulfilled his promise by officially launching the processing machine. During the launch, Governor Futuyo stressed the importance of possessing a valid license and logbook to avoid any disputes with traffic authorities while driving or riding.
Moreover, Governor Futuyo assured the public that the processing fee will adhere to the official payment schedule, with no unauthorized increments. This commitment ensures that the process remains fair and transparent for all applicants.
The Yambio traffic police have confirmed that the newly introduced machine will process both driving licenses and motorcycle logbooks for drivers and riders. The estimated cost for processing a logbook and license for a driver and motorcycle rider is 20,000 SSP.
With the introduction of this machine, drivers and boda boda riders in Yambio can now expect a smoother and more efficient process for obtaining their necessary documents. This development not only benefits the individuals directly involved but also contributes to the overall revenue generation within the state.
