South Sudan Civil Society Alliance Urges Support for IDPs in Manga Community
In a recent meeting held at the South Sudan Civil Society Alliance (SSCSA) office, Chairperson for Contribution of IDPs at Manga Community in Rokon payam, Madam Dudu Sebit Abdalla, emphasized the importance of supporting internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the region. The discussion revolved around mobilizing resources to aid the community, particularly focusing on vulnerable groups such as children, elderly individuals, and those with disabilities.
Madam Dudu Sebit urged all South Sudanese citizens to come together and provide assistance to the IDPs, highlighting the need for unity and peacebuilding in the country. She emphasized the significance of implementing the peace agreement revitalized in 2018 in Khartoum to address ongoing conflicts and foster harmony among communities.
“It is crucial for us to unite and work towards a peaceful resolution,” stated Madam Dudu Sebit. “The most affected individuals are the children, elderly, and persons with disabilities. Let us create a conducive environment for all, especially in rural areas where cultivation is vital during the current rainy season.”

Madam Dudu Sebit’s call for solidarity and action resonated strongly, urging South Sudanese citizens to rally behind the cause of those in need within the Manga Community.
